Troubleshooting
A few years ago I had to find root cause of Mosfets failing in an inverter bridge. There were 4 low power devices all in a tiny TSOP-8 package. Part of a module for powering an LCD monitor. The failures were random, but in the range of a few thousand ppm during the system burn in. Peculiar thing was that it was always one pair that got burnt out - the right arm of the bridge.

Side note: Soft starters will trip out if the motor speed has not reached at least 85% of nominal by the end of the start ramp cycle. So, that is why your soft starter is probably tripping. The soft starter should be giving you a "fault code", use the manual to verify why it is tripping.

In starting up the motor, it will trip from 4 to 6 times. everybody believe it should be related to viscosity of the product. But, i believe, it's down to electrical problem. Some has suggested that electrical heat tracing is the solution. Motor specification is 415V, Full load current 389A, and maximum current is 2800 A. Maybe it's down to electrical cable fault.
It used for Bunkering Pump. Suction and Discharge of fuel oil. We used soft starter for method of starting, and at 1st, we've setting overcurrent setting from 3.0,3.2 until 4.0, but then, it's still tripping.
