The highland HV/MV solid soft starter cabinet of Gozuk is applicable to the environment at an altitude between 2,000m and 4,000m. The highland soft starter vary quite a lot in the terms of design, manufacture, installation and use from the flatland product and insulation correction factor is specially employed for the design of the highland product to meet the highland environment conditions.
A soft starter does not create harmonics during Run but only during the soft start process. Typically this is a short time process (about 1-15 seconds typically).
The current harmonics created depends strongly on the ratio (r) between the actual (soft) starting current and motor DOL (Direct on Line) current.
Gozuk HV/MV solid soft starter cabinet is applicable to 6KV/10KV medium and large AC motor soft startup and is widely applied in industrial fields such as metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, port operation, mining, construction and electricity power.
The control core of Gozuk HV/MV solid soft starter cabinet is composed of a HV motor soft starter integrated controller, a thyristor dynamic safety monitoring and protection unit, a thyristor firing unit, HP constant current source and so on.

"Soft start" in reference to when you connect AC and get surge current to charge capacitance:
When AC current is over X amps for more than Y line cycles. X and Y depend on the AC breaker you plan on using. Usually, if you can stay under a peak of 30A for less than 1/2 line cycle your OK to the line (15A 120Vac breaker), but depending on your design that might be way too high and you'll burn up traces or blow fuses and of course cause flicker.
In soft starter, the thyristors and microprocessors are used that can cause emission during operation. This emission can be reduced by using a by-pass contactor that ensures the system fulfills the compatibility requirement. Another advantage by using a by -pass contactor is that the total power loss is reduced, and thus it is not needed to have extra fans for cooling if the soft starter is enclosed.
When use soft stop mode to stop the motor, the power supply of motor will be transferred from the bypass contactor to the controlled silicon of soft starter, and the output voltage of starter will be reduced gradually so that the running speed of motor can be cut down smoothly avoid mechanical shock. The output ending voltage is the same as the starting initial voltage. Soft stop mode can reduce or remove the surge of the loading equipment such as the water pump.
Gozuk soft starter has six starting modes for the client to select according to the motor and loads:
1) Current-limit start
2) Voltage ramp start
3) Torque control + current limit or voltage ramp
4) Current ramp start
5) Double closed loop

Gozuk soft starters have five working states: Ready, Run, Fault, Start and Stop. The control panel will show the current value of the motor in start/stop, and it will show the set and help menu at other states.
The direction and distance of installation: In order to make sure that the soft starter be in good ventilation and heat dissipation, please install the soft starter in vertical direction, and be sure the space around the starter is enough.
